Two civilians injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

Two civilians have been injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On January 17, 2023, Russians injured two civilians in the Donetsk region, namely in Bakhmut and Orlivka,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.

A reminder that Russian troops are conducting unsuccessful offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction.
