Russian strike on Dnipro: 14 people killed, 73 injured, 38 rescued

Fourteen people were killed, 73 were injured, and 38 were rescued as a Russian missile hit an apartment block in Dnipro city, destroying an entire section.

"As of 01:30 on January 15, 38 people (including six children) were rescued. Twelve people (including one child) were killed, 73 people (including 14 children) were injured. Isolated fires in the rubble are being put out. The damaged and surviving parts of the house are being inspected," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

As noted, more than 450 people and 80 units of equipment are involved in search and rescue operations.

The State Emergency Service added that the rescuers heard a woman's voice under the rubble, works are underway to rescue her.

Dnipro city authorities declared a three-day mourning for the victims of the Russian missile attack.
