In Sumy region, private houses and a farm were damaged as a result of Russian artillery shelling of the Myropillia community.

This was reported by Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"This afternoon the Russians shelled the village of Myropillia with artillery. There were reports of 20  hits, presumably from a 120 mm mortar. Five houses and a local farm were damaged," Zhyvytskyi said.

He reminded that Russian forces had already shelled this farm in the summer, and then all the hay supplies for cattle were burned down.

As reported, from 11:30 to 11:50 on January 8, Russian invaders struck Sumy region 12 times, presumably from a 120 mm mortar.
