Invaders hit border areas of Sumy region with artillery

Russian invaders on January 6 shelled the border areas of the Sumy region with self-propelled artillery.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, reported this on Telegram.

"Throughout the day, the Russians hit the Shalyhyne border community with self-propelled guns. There were two hits," the report read.

No casualties or destruction were recorded.

Ukrainian defense forces liberated the Kyi, Sumy and Chernihiv regions from Russian invaders late in March and early in April. The enemy continues to shell the border areas from Russian territory.
