One person killed, another one injured in Russian shelling of Donetsk region

The Russian army killed one civilian and injured one more in Donetsk region on January 2.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"On January 2, the Russians killed one civilian in Donetsk region – in Bakhmut. Another person was injured,” he wrote.

He noted that it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of UKraine, on January 2, the enemy launched six missile attacks, 52 air strikes and carried out 77 MLRS attacks, of which all six missile strikes, as well as 30 air strikes targeted the civilian infrastructure.
