Some Russian missiles never reached Ukraine during today's attack - Ukraine Air Force

Several missiles launched by the enemy on December 31 never reached Ukraine, falling on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The Air Force Command reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On December 31, at around 13:00, the enemy attacked Ukraine employing Tu-95MS strategic missile-carrying aircraft from the Caspian Sea, as well as Iskander-M ground-based operational-tactical launchers." According to preliminary data, a total of about 20 missiles were launched. Several of them never reached Ukraine, falling on the territory of the Russian Federation," the statement reads.

The reports are being verified.

As reported, on December 31, Russia once again launched a massive missile attack on Ukrainian infrastructure. In total, the enemy fired more than 20 cruise missiles, 12 of which were destroyed by air defense forces over Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

A Russian Orlan-10 UAV was also shot down in Kyiv region.
