Death toll in Russia’s strike on Kherson rises to ten

Civilian death toll in today’s Russian strike on Kherson city center has risen to ten.

"We currently have 55 [people] injured. In addition, 10 people were killed in the shelling of the city center. Among those injured, 18 are in serious condition. Fortunately, children were not injured," Yaroslav Yanushevych, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said during the nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Moreover, people are trapped under the rubble in one of the city streets as a result of the shelling. Rescuers are working at the scene.

Yanushevych noted that the Russian troops were shelling the city center with Grad MLRS. In addition, the invaders used incendiary ammunition near Antonivka.

As reported, on the morning of December 24, Russian troops struck Kherson city center.
