Russians fired over 50 projectiles at Nikopol, Marhanets last night

Last night Russian troops were continuously shelling the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district with the Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), heavy artillery.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russians were attacking the Nikopol district with the Grad and Uragan MLRS, heavy artillery all night long. The enemy targeted two cities, Nikopol and Marhanets. Over 50 projectiles were fired at residential areas,” Reznichenko wrote.

In Nikopol, a car repair shop, gas pipeline, power transmission lines and several detached houses were damaged.

In Marhanets, Russian projectiles hit a dozen of detached houses and household buildings, a car, gas pipelines and power transmission lines.

According to Reznichenko, two households caught fire, but rescuers successfully completed firefighting operations.
