Russian armed aggression affects over 1,298 children in Ukraine

A total of 443 children have been killed and over 855 injured in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As of December 11, 2022, the number of children killed and injured remained the same, 443 and over 855 respectively.

These data are not final, as they are being investigated within the areas of hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated areas, according to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office.

Currently, most casualties were recorded in the Donetsk region (426), Kharkiv region (267), Kyiv region (117), Zaporizhzhia region (78), Mykolaiv region (77), Kherson region (70), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (65) and Dnipropetrovsk region (33).

As a result of Russia’s daily air and artillery strikes, a total of 3,126 educational institutions were damaged across Ukraine, and 337 of them were destroyed completely.

A reminder that 8,066 Ukrainian children have been found since the full-scale war started.
