Ukraine’s Armed Forces will be in Luhansk, Donetsk and Sevastopol in spring - Danilov

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov has assured that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be in Luhansk, Donetsk and Sevastopol in the spring of 2023.

According to him, winter will be a key phase in the struggle for Ukraine's independence, Ukrinform reports.

“On December 6, 1919, the Winter Campaign of the UPR army began. On December 6, 2022, it is ongoing and will end with the Ukrainian Spring in liberated Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk. The Ukrainian winter is a key stage of the Great War for Independence. Happy AFU Day!” he wrote on Twitter.

Ukraine marks the Day of the Armed Forces on December 6 - the day of the adoption in 1991 of the law "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine".
