The enemy struck the residential buildings and premises of a water utility in Kherson, killing a 43-year-old employee.

"The Russian occupiers struck the residential buildings and the premises of water utility in Kherson," the Kherson City Council posted on Telegram.

The administration building of the utility company and residential buildings located nearby were hit with several enemy shells. According to preliminary data, one person was killed. A 43-year-old employee of the water utility company died of mine blast and shrapnel injuries.

As a result of the shelling, a large-scale fire broke out. Kherson rescuers are currently putting the fire out.

As reported, over the past day, December 5, the Russian occupiers shelled the territory of Kherson region 17 times. The Russians attacked the peaceful settlements of the region with artillery, MLRS, mortars, and tanks. The Russians hit civilian infrastructure facilities and residential buildings. One resident of Kherson region was injured in the enemy shelling.
