Russians shell Donetsk region, damage power lines

Russian shelling has damaged power lines in the Marinka community in the Donetsk region.

That's according to Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the regional military administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Last night, the Russians fired on the front line from the Vuhledar to Lyman community. In the Volnovakha direction, Bohoiavlenka in the Vuhledar community came under fire — five houses were damaged, no one was injured," he wrote on Telegram.

According to Kyrylenko, in the Donetsk direction, the Russians hit infrastructure in the Kurakhove community at night and damaged power lines in the Marinka community in the morning. Isolated shelling of the old part of Avdiivka was also recorded. There was no information about those injured by the shelling.

"Seven people were injured in the Horlivka direction: four in Ivanivske, two in Bakhmut and one in Toretsk. Private houses were damaged in Ivanivske — we are establishing the extent of the damage done," Kyrylenko added.

In addition, about 50 hits were recorded on the settlements of Torske and Zarichne in the Lyman community.
