In Kherson, Russians leave explosives even in children's toys – Interior Ministry

Retreating from Kherson city, the Russian military left explosives even in children's toys.

Rostyslav Smirnov, adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, stated this during a nationwide telethon on Ukrainian TV channels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Currently, the main focus is on demining. The scale of mining is extremely large there. I constantly receive photo reports (about discovered ammunition - ed.) in children's toys, there was a mine between two soccer balls, etc.," he said.

Smirnov noted that in the liberated territories of Kherson region, rescuers have already disposed more than 5,000 explosive objects.

As reported, on November 23, press officers of the State Emergency Service, Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, said that since the beginning of de-occupation, rescuers have surveyed an area of 393 hectares in Kherson region.
