Ukraine’s air defense units down 51 out of 70 Russian missiles and five drones

Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces shot down 51 out of 70 cruise missiles and five kamikaze drones launched by the Russian Federation during the massive attack on Ukraine.

"On November 23, the terrorist state once again launched a massive missile attack on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine from strategic aviation aircraft and the Black Sea Fleet ships," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

The missiles were launched from ten Tu-95ms missile carrier aircraft from the area of Volgodonsk, Rostov region, and the Caspian Sea, as well as from two small missile boats from the Black Sea.

In total, the enemy launched about 70 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles. Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed 51 missiles.

In the south of Ukraine, five Lancet combat drones were shot down.

As reported, the Russian Federation launched Wednesday a massive missile attack on a number of regions of Ukraine, particularly targeting the energy infrastructure. Six people were killed and 36 more were injured in Russian strikes.
