Invaders shell six communities in Sumy region

The Russian troops shelled six communities in Sumy region on Tuesday.

Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to the region’s governor, the Esman, Hlukhiv, Putyvl, Znob-Novhorodske, Druzhba and Shalyhyne communities came under enemy fire.

The Russians opened fire at the Esman community at around 11:00. No one was injured.

In the Hlukhiv community, after 11:40, invaders launched three MLRS attacks from the territory of Russia in the direction of a border village.

The enemy attacked the Shalyhyne community with barrel artillery. Nine hits were recorded.

Around 18:00, the Russians again shelled the Putyvl community with barrel artillery. A total of 15 strikes were recorded.

Around 21:00, the Russians struck the Znob-Novhorodske community with self-propelled artillery unit, six attacks were recorded.

The enemy also used self-propelled artillery to shell the Druzhba community. A total of 20 strikes were recorded. As a result of the shelling, a power supply line was damaged.

As Ukrinform reported, since the beginning of November, Russian troops shelled the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions more than 170 times, using artillery, mortars, aviation, and drones.
