Ukraine gets bodies of 33 fallen defenders back

On Tuesday, November 22, Ukraine got the bodies of 33 fallen service members back.

As the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine posted on Telegram, the operation was carried out with the cooperation of the Commissioner for Missing Persons Oleh Kotenko and a number of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

"The process of negotiations on the transfer of bodies is ongoing. With joint efforts, we strive to return the bodies of the defenders to the families as soon as possible so that they can properly honor their memory," Kotenko said.

In total, 696 bodies have been delivered back to Ukraine since the beginning of the work of the Commissioner's Office.
