Sumy region struck with Russian mortars, artillery: 32 explosions

Today Russian invaders have opened fire on the Sumy region’s border areas with mortars and artillery.

The relevant statement was made by the North Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, between 02:32 p.m. and 02:58 p.m., a total of 24 explosions were reported. Reportedly, Russians used a 120-mm mortar.

According to the preliminary data, the village of Vovkivka came under enemy fire. No personnel or equipment losses were reported, as well as casualties among civilians or damage to civil infrastructure.

Between 02:27 p.m. and 02:35 p.m., seven explosions occurred near the village of Mala Slobidka. Reportedly, the enemy used 152-mm cannon artillery pieces. No personnel or equipment losses were reported, as well as casualties among civilians or damage to civil infrastructure.
