Occupiers forcing Mariupol children to make clothing for Russian military

The children remaining in the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol will be forced to make clothing for the Russian military.

The relevant statement was made by Mariupol City Council on Telegram, referring to the order issued by Russian occupiers, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russian occupiers are launching the cultural and patriotic action, Teplaya Zabota [warm care – Ed.], in Mariupol. It is not aimed at providing support for the civilians freezing in the city. Its purpose is to make clothing for the Russian military, i.e. those who killed Mariupol residents and continue to kill the Ukrainian people,” the report states.

According to the document, teachers and students of cultural institutions will be involved in this action.

A reminder that Russian armed aggression caused one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in the city of Mariupol. 90% of the city was destroyed due to enemy shelling.

Currently, Mariupol residents have no normal power, water and gas supplies. Over 100,000 people are remaining in the city, but most of them have no place to live.
