Nearly 1,100 proceedings opened against traitors, collaborators in Ukraine – SBI

Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has opened nearly 1,100 proceedings against traitors and collaborators since the Russian full-scale invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, the SBI is investigating 1,098 crimes against the foundations of national security, including 899 criminal proceedings for high treason, 158 – for collaborative activities and 10 – for aiding and abetting the aggressor state.

As a result, 436 persons were served with notice of charges, and 286 put on a wanted list.

A total of 1,224 persons are being checked for involvement in high treason and collaborative activities. Ninety-four proceedings have already been sent to court.

Most proceedings were opened in such regions as Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kherson.
