Russian troops last night struck three communities of the Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery and Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The situation was tense last night in the Nikopol district. The Russians attacked three communities - Marhanets, Nikopol and Chervonohryhorivka. They hit night cities and villages with Grads and heavy artillery. There was no one killed or injured," he said.

At the same time, Reznichenko specified that a fire broke out in Nikopol as a result of the shelling, which has already been extinguished. Ten private houses, four outbuildings, several cars, power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged.

In other parts of the region, the night passed without any emergency situations.
