Ukraine erecting wall on border with Belarus

Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, showed how the wall on the border with Belarus is being constructed.

Tymoshenko posted the corresponding video on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“This is how the wall is being erected on the border with Belarus in Volyn region – it’s a reinforced concrete fence with barbed wire. This is one of the elements of the engineering barriers that are being installed to protect our border. Of course, the work is going on not only in Volyn. This applies to all regions bordering Belarus and Russia,” Tymoshenko noted.

During a working trip to Volyn region, Tymoshenko visited the regional hospital and stated that the region has a modern, well-equipped facility that can provide high-quality and timely medical care. An aid batch was also delivered to the military deployed in the region.

As reported by Ukrinform, Tymoshenko said that the construction of fortifications on the border with Belarus is being done by regional authorities and businesses.
