Units of attack drone operators being formed in Belarus - General Staff

Units of attack drone operators as part of the border troops are being formed in the Republic of Belarus.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its operational update as of 06:00, on November 9, Ukrinform reports.

According to the General Staff, the enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, focusing its efforts on attempts to disrupt the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions, and is conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions.

In the past 24 hours, units of the Defense Forces have repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka and Novoselivske in Luhansk region and Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Klishchiivka, Mayorsk, Novomykhailivka, Opytne, Pavlivka, Pervomaiske, Soledar and Yakovlivka in Donetsk region.

The Russian forces continue to shell the positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line, fortify defensive positions and conduct aerial reconnaissance.

The enemy continues to violate the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war, attacking the civilian infrastructure and civilian residential areas.

In the past 24 hours, the invaders launched 7 missile attacks and 32 airstrikes, more than 70 MLRS attacks.

Areas of more than 35 settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were affected.

In the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the enemy positions 18 times. Four platoon strongholds, 10 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment clusters, as well as 4 positions of the enemy's air defense were struck.
