Russian soldiers stealing, sending home thermal imagers - intercept

In Kherson region, the battalion commander complains about mass theft of military property by Russian soldiers, including thermal imagers, according to an intercepted call.

The relevant audio was posted on Facebook by the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Ukrinform reports.

In this call, a Russian man, talking to his interlocutor, recommends that he appropriate a thermal visor at the first opportunity.

"Never give it to a soldier. It is better to do everything yourself. Because they “lose” them, send them home! Here (a lot of - ed.) visors were snatched," said the man.

His interlocutor, whose name is Dmitriy, was surprised to hear this, cursing at the soldiers stealing army property.

"Those rats"! I used to catch some red-handed. Bastards. And then they say: ‘Give us another visor. ‘Piss off,’ I would tell them directly. Even if someone offers them to me, I will refuse. When they do, I turn down supplies," said the man.

As reported earlier, with the reference to Ukraine’s defense intelligence, a Russian soldier in another intercepted call was heard complaining about heavy losses: 20 to 30 people get killed in his unit each day.
