Ukrainian aircraft launch 17 strikes on enemy positions on Oct 29

The Russian army on Saturday launched seven air strikes and five missile strikes on Ukraine, using multiple rocket launchers about 30 times.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a statement on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to the report, the invaders are trying to keep control of the temporarily captured territories, concentrating their efforts on deterring the Ukrainian defense forces in certain directions, and continuing to conduct offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

According to the report, the enemy attacked the areas of more than 15 settlements, including Sloviansk and Siversk in the Donetsk region and Novooleksandrivka in the Kherson region.

According to the General Staff, the aviation of the Ukrainian defense forces struck enemy positions 17 times on October 29, including 11 strikes on areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, three strikes on platoon strongholds, and another three strikes on the positions of the enemy's air defense systems. In different directions, Ukrainian air defenses shot down a hostile Kh-59 guided missile and two Orlan-10 UAVs.

Units of the rocket forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit four areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, two ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile system and six other important military targets of the invaders.
