More than 3,700 citizens evacuated from dangerous regions in past month – President’s Office

Between September 17 and October 23, more than 3,700 people, including 614 children, were evacuated from the territories where active hostilities are ongoing.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the President’s Office, said this at a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

"As of now, evacuation is underway from territories where active hostilities are taking place. Over the past month, 3,719 people, including 614 children, 216 persons with disabilities, were evacuated," he said.

The deputy head of the President’s Office urged residents in dangerous regions do not delay evacuation. He emphasized that Russian terrorists are doing everything possible so that Ukrainians remain without electricity, gas and water supply this winter. In the areas where active hostilities are ongoing, the probability that this can happen is much higher than in relatively calm areas.
