Germany hands over another batch of weapons, ammo, winter clothing to Ukraine’s Army

Germany has delivered to Ukraine a new batch of weapons, packages of winter clothing and equipment for the military.

That’s according to the federal government press service, Ukrinform reports.

As follows from the updated list of deliveries, five more armored recovery vehicles were transferred (the same number as delivered in the previous consignment); seven heavy and medium bridge systems; 167,000 cartridges for firearms, 100 tents (the total number now reaches 200); 183 generators (previously 12 were transferred); 116,000 winter jackets; 80,000 winter pants; and 240,000 winter hats.

Finally, the transfer of the Iris-T SLM air defense system has been officially confirmed, as the media reported last week.

Among the new vows announced by Germany are five armored engineer vehicles; 35 8x8 trucks, and 4,000 sleeping bags.

Part of the aid comes from the enterprises, and another part – from the Bundeswehr reserves.

The licenses issued by the government of Germany for the export of military goods to Ukraine in the period from January 1, 2022 to October 10, 2022, total EUR 796,812,445.
