In Cherkasy region, Russian drones hit critical infrastructure object

A critical infrastructure facility was attacked by five enemy kamikaze drones in Cherkasy region overnight Saturday, October 22.

That’s according to Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Overnight Saturday, the enemy attacked Cherkasy region. Tentatively, it was fiev kamikaze drones. We have ‘arrivals’ at one of the critical infrastructure facilities," the statement says.

Taburets noted that no casualties were reported.

He also appealed to the residents of the region not to post photos and videos from the scene.

As reported by Ukrinform, last night, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 10 enemy drones over Mykolaiv region and another one – over Kirovohrad region.
