Residential buildings, infrastructure were damaged in Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia

The Russian invasion forces launched a strike at the city of Zaporizhzhia, where a number of residential buildings were damaged.

This was reported on Telegram by Acting Mayor Anatoliy Kurtiev, Ukrinform saw.

Apart from residential areas, civilian infrastructure was also affected by the strike, the official says.

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, warned city residents that as a result of an enemy attack, fragments of missiles may remain on the city's territory.

"As a result of the enemy attack, fragments may remain on the territory of the city. Do not touch them, do not come close to them, and do not take pictures," the official wrote.

According to Starukh, these parts of the ammunition are explosive.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of October 21, Russian troops fired missiles at Zaporizhzhia.
