Missile attack on Sumy region: 5 killed, 14 hospitalized

The death toll in Russia’s missile strike on Sumy region this morning has risen to five. Fourteen more people are in the hospital.

"The situation on the border was calm, but we had a missile attack on an infrastructure object. Three Russian missiles. Fourteen injured people are in the hospital, three of them were rescued alive from under the rubble. Five people were killed... Almost 300 strikes have been launched from the territory of the Russian Federation during the day," Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

The enemy shelled Krasnopillia, Shalyhine, Velyka Pysarivka, and Seredyna-Buda communities with mortars and tube artillery. A woman was injured in the artillery shelling of Seredyna-Buda town.

This morning, Russia attacked Sumy region. After a Russian missile hit Romny, it was reported that three people were killed and nine more were injured. Some settlements of Sumy region were left without electricity supply.
