Local resident from de-occupied settlement tells of her grandson shot dead by Russians

A local resident from the Kherson region’s Novooleksandrivka, liberated from Russian invaders, has told of her grandson, who was shot in the back with a machine gun by Russian occupiers.

The relevant video was posted by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Yaroslav Yanushevych on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The video shows a woman telling of her grandson Mykhailo, who was shot dead by Russian invaders on April 16, 2022, as he stood in a queue for humanitarian aid together with his father. Russian occupiers shot him in the back with a machine gun and told the locals it was a ‘Ukrainian sniper’ who did that.

A reminder that, according to the data from juvenile prosecutors, a total of 423 children have been killed and over 810 injured in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.
