Two civilian bodies recovered from under rubble of apartment block in Mykolaiv

Two civilian bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of a 5-storey apartment block, which was destroyed in Russia’s missile strike on Mykolaiv.

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The aftermath of Russia’s missile strike on a residential house. Currently, rescuers have recovered two civilian bodies. A man, 31, and a woman, 80,” the report states.

Rescuers continue working at the scene.

A reminder that, on the night of October 13, 2022, a Russian missile struck a 5-storey apartment block in the city of Mykolaiv. Two civilians were reported injured, and rescuers were searching for seven more people trapped under the rubble.
