Finland preparing new military aid package for Ukraine

Finland is completing preparations for sending the ninth batch of military aid to Ukraine.

Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen during a speech before the parliament, Ukrinform reports, citing Yle.

"It [the new aid package] is unlikely to be the last. We must be ready to support Ukraine for a long time," Kaikkonen said.

According to him, the decision to send a new batch of aid will be made in the near future.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Finland has provided eight packages of military aid to Ukraine, with their total value estimated at EUR 92.3 million.
