Sumy region’s border areas come under enemy fire

Russian troops continue to open fire on the Sumy region’s border areas. In particular, the Velyka Pysarivka community was struck with Russian cannon artillery.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

On October 3, 2022, a dozen of Russian projectiles hit the Velyka Pysarivka community. The enemy opened fire from Russia’s Kozinka.

As a result, a farm household was damaged in one of settlements. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

A reminder that, in September 2022, Russian troops opened fire on Ukraine’s border areas, mostly in the Sumy region, about 250 times.
