Ukraine’s Air Force downs five out of seven kamikaze drones launched to attack Mykolaiv region

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down five out of seven Shahed-136 kamikaze drones used by the Russian troops to attack Mykolaiv region last night.

"On the night of October 2, the Russian-occupation forces attacked Mykolaiv region with seven Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Five out of seven Shahed-136 drones were destroyed by the members of the Odesa anti-aircraft missile brigade and the Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigade as part of the Air Command ‘South’ v of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Air Force command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

As reported, on the night of October 1, the Russians struck Mykolaiv city with kamikaze drones and S-300 missiles, injuring five people, including a three-month-old baby. The body of a young woman was found under the rubble after the night attack.
