Dnipropetrovsk region struck with Grad MLRS and heavy artillery, casualties reported

Russian troops have opened fire on the Dnipropetrovsk region. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russians again opened fire on the Nikopol district. In the morning, they struck Nikopol and Marhanets with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and heavy artillery. About 30 projectiles were fired at peaceful settlements. In Marhanets, two civilians were killed, a man and a woman. According to the preliminary data, nine more people were injured. Three of them were rescued from under the rubble,” Reznichenko wrote.

In his words, a fire broke out in a residential house in the city. Rescuers have already extinguished the fire. Russian projectiles caused damage to eight houses and destroyed one house.

Due to the enemy attack, 2,200 households were left without electricity. Repair crews are already fixing the lines.

In Nikopol, 10 houses were reported seriously damaged. The police and rescuers are working at the scene. The scale of destructions is yet to be reported.
