PGO registers almost 50,000 crimes related to Russian invasion

Ukrainian law enforcers have registered 49,901 crimes since the Russian armed aggression started.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Crimes of aggression and war crimes: 34,185 crimes were registered. Of them: 32,911 - related to violation of the laws and customs of warfare, 73 - planning, preparation or initiation and waging of an aggressive war, 30 - war propaganda, 1,171 – other crimes," the report reads.

It is noted that Ukrainian law enforcers also registered 15,716 crimes against national security, of which: 10,907 — related to encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, 1,695 - treason, 2,334 - collaborative activities, 181 – assistance to the aggressor state, 64 – sabotage, and 535 – other crimes.

As reported, 384 children were killed and 754 others were injured as a result of Russia's armed aggression.
