Russian forces kill 384 children in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale armed aggression, Russian troops have killed 384 children and injured 749 others in Ukraine.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

As of the morning of September 14, a total of 1,133 children were affected in Ukraine. According to the official information provided by juvenile prosecutors, 384 children were killed and more than 749 received injuries of various degrees of severity.

It is noted that these figures are not final, as work is underway in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most children were affected in Donetsk region - 393, Kharkiv region - 209, Kyiv region - 116, Mykolaiv region - 72, Chernihiv region - 68, Luhansk region - 61, Kherson region - 55, Zaporizhzhia region – 46, and Dnipropetrovsk region – 26.

According to the PGO, it was established that a 4-year-old boy was killed in enemy shelling in Mariupol on March 12.

In addition, regular air strikes and shelling of civilian infrastructure and residential areas by the Russian armed forces damaged 2,480 educational institutions. Of which, 289 were completely destroyed.

As reported by Ukrinform, on September 13, in Lozova city, Kharkiv region, Russian troops destroyed a school and a kindergarten with missile strikes, damaged an outpatient clinic and private homes.
