Last night Russian troops struck the Nikopol district with heavy artillery three times, having fired 75 projectiles.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy has struck the Nikopol district three times over the past night. The Nikopol and Marhanets communities were shelled with heavy artillery. Seventy-five projectiles were fired. No casualties were reported,” Reznichenko wrote.

In his words, Russian troops attacked the city of Nikopol twice. Up to 20 houses, several gas pipelines and power transmission lines were damaged. About 3,000 households were left without electricity. Power supply services have been partially restored, but repair works are underway in the Marhanets, Myrove and Tomkivka communities.

In the rest of districts, it was calm last night.

A reminder that a 71-year man, who was injured in Russia’s missile strike on downtown Dnipro on September 11, 2022, died at hospital.
