Three civilians killed in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops have opened fire on the city of Kharkiv and local districts over the past day, including the recently de-occupied areas. As a result, three civilians were killed.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past day, the enemy has been massively shelling Kharkiv, the Kharkiv district, the Chuhuiv district and the Kupiansk district. According to the data from the Emergency Medicine Center, one civilian was killed and six injured in Kharkiv. In addition, one civilian was injured in the Izium district. Two civilians were injured in the Kharkiv district, and one of them – in mine blast in Ruski Tyshky. In the Kupiansk district, two civilians were killed,” Syniehubov wrote.

Around 03:00 a.m., September 13, 2022, Russian invaders opened fire on the city of Lozova. According to the regional authorities, the enemy projectiles directly hit an educational institution. Information about casualties is yet to be checked.

In the liberated areas, the Ukrainian side continues to document the crimes committed by Russian troops. Mine threats are remaining high.
