South: Ukrainian army destroys 40 Russian soldiers, four tanks, ammunition depot

The Ukrainian Air Force launched three strikes on enemy positions in southern Ukraine on September 11, whereas the country's rocket and artillery units carried out 270 combat missions to destroy an area of concentration of enemy weapons and equipment, an electronic warfare station and two ammunition depots.

That's according to Ukraine's Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

The command confirmed that on the southern front, the Russian occupying forces in the past day lost 40 soldiers, four tanks, four armored vehicles, three Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, and an ammunition depot in Kakhovka.

It added that Russian forces are conducting aerial reconnaissance, continuing to attack the positions of Ukrainian units and trying to take measures to regain ground. The occupiers are moving troops, simulating the arrival of reserves.

With no success on land, Russian forces carried out 19 airstrikes along the contact line in the past day.

In addition, four Russian warships armed with 36 Kalibr missiles and four large amphibious ships stay in the Black Sea.
