Ukrainian forces shoot down Russian Mi-24 helicopter today

An air defense unit of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces has shot down a Russian Mi-24 helicopter today.

The command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"Units of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully destroy the equipment and manpower of the Russian occupiers in one of the directions. In particular, today, in addition to the downed Russian Su-25 Grach attack aircraft, an air defense unit shot down another Mi-24 attack helicopter of the occupiers," the report reads.

Overall, air defense units of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces shot down four enemy aircraft, four helicopters, two UAVs and five cruise missiles.

As Ukrinform reported, an air defense unit of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces shot down a Russian Su-25 Grach attack aircraft.
