Russian troops hit residential building in downtown Kharkiv

Russian troops struck a residential building in Kharkiv early on Tuesday, September 6.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of the morning shelling of Kharkiv, a residential apartment building in the central part of the Kyivvsky district was damaged," he wrote.

Information about casualties and destruction is being clarified, Terekhov added.

Russian troops last night launched a rocket attack on Kharkiv's Industrialny district, killing one person.
