One child killed, two injured in enemy shelling of Mykolaiv region

On the morning of September 3, the enemy shelled Mykolaiv region, killing an 8-year-old child and injuring two more children.

Hanna Zamazeyeva, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today's morning was especially difficult. Shelling continues. Unfortunately, there are victims. There are two wounded in the city of Mykolaiv, four in Bereznehuvate. Among those injured are two children. Unfortunately, there are also killed - an 8-year-old child. Sincere condolences to the family," the report reads.

Zamazeyeva added that a total of 307 people affected by the enemy attacks are currently at Mykolaiv hospitals.

According to her, populated areas of the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts came under enemy strikes. Last night, explosions rocked the city of Voznesensk.

"In addition to artillery shelling, air strikes on populated areas in the Pervomaiske, Shyroke and Bereznehuvate communities were recorded. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. Fires broke out as a result of shelling," Zamazeyeva said.

As Ukrinform reported, on September 3, explosions rang out in Mykolaiv, a woman was injured.
