In Zaporizhia region, invaders take almost 500 civilians hostage

In Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian invasion troops have captured 485 civilians.

That’s according to a report by the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"In Zaporizhia region, the occupiers captured 485 civilians, of which 207 are still being held hostage," the Administration said.

It is added that 278 persons have been released.

As reported, the first deputy mayor of Energodar, Ivan Samoydyuk, and Dniprorudne Mayor Yevhen Matveev, are both in Russian captivity.
