Russian forces shell Sumy region 122 times over past day, injuring two

Ukrainian police officers recorded 122 enemy attacks against the Sumy region on August 27, in which two people were injured.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's National Police said this in a statement posted on its website.

Enemy shelling damaged private houses, outbuildings, a psychoneurological boarding school, a shop, a school, and a kindergarten, the report said.

The police opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
