AFU Navy Commander discusses UK’s support with First Sea Lord

Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Neyizhpapa, the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, recently had a video conference call with Admiral Sir Benjamin John Key, First Sea Lord of the United Kingdom.

"The commanders discussed several issues related to the security situation in the Black Sea basin, possible further support for Ukraine in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation," the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

Neyizhpapa thanked for UK’s strong support and significant help to Ukraine in the confrontation with the aggressor country – the Russian Federation.

In turn, the British side underscored that it would support Ukraine as long as it takes to return its territories seized by the invader and to establish peace on the European continent.

As reported, the personnel of the Royal Air Force Regiment train the Ukrainian military in Great Britain. Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway announced their intention to participate in the training program for the Ukrainian military in Great Britain.
