University’s main building, 27 houses damaged in night attack on Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, 27 houses, the main building of a university, and a car park were destroyed in a night missile strike.

"Today, Mykolaiv came under heavy shelling around 02:00. In Tsentralnyi district, the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University was damaged with S-300 missiles. The university’s walls were damaged, the windows and doors were blown out, the ceiling and interior decoration were destroyed. Moreover, 27 houses were damaged in the attack. They had a total of 154 windows blown out. In three houses, the roof was completely destroyed, in eleven – partially damaged," Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych posted on Telegram.

In addition, a private enterprise came under fire in Korabelny district. A car park was destroyed. Five private houses were damaged by the shock wave and debris.

As reported, six missiles were fired at Mykolaiv last night.
