Powerful blast heard near ‘commandant’s office’ of Russian occupiers in Melitopol

An explosion has been heard near the ‘commandant’s office’ of Russian invaders in the central part of the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Region.

The relevant statement was made by Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A powerful blast was heard near the enemy’s lair in the central part of Melitopol. Let me remind you that a commandant’s office of the occupiers is located there,” Fedorov wrote.

A reminder that, in the morning of August 16, 2022, Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported on two explosions that had occurred near a substation in Melitopol. As a result, Russia’s television broadcasts interrupted in the city.
