Russia strikes Mykolaiv's port infrastructure

Russian aggressors struck the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv late on August 16.

Ukraine's Operational Command South said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"The port infrastructure of Mykolaiv was hit by Smerch MLRS rockets in the evening. There are no casualties," the post said.

According to the report, on August 16, Russian attack aircraft and helicopters hit Ukrainian positions nine times. There are no losses among Ukrainian forces.

On February 24, Russia began a new phase of its eight-year war against Ukraine – an all-out invasion.
