Militants mobilized in Luhansk region refusing to fight for 'DPR' - official

Soldiers of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic" ("LPR") are refusing to "liberate" the "Donetsk People's Republic" ("DPR") because their leadership has already declared victory in the war for the Luhansk region.

Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"'LPR' soldiers refuse to go and carry out orders on the territory of the 'fraternal people' – 'DPR.' They complain that with threats, intimidation, blackmail and deception attempts are being made to send them to the 'DPR,' although the territory of the 'LPR' has already been 'liberated'," Haidai wrote.

He added that mobilization measures had intensified in the occupied territories. This is due not only to the invaders' significant losses on the front line, but also to the lack of motivation to fight.
